Horror's Worst Attempts At Scare!

Black Christmas was originally a little well known canadian movie from 1974. what many people do not know is that this was one of the earliest slasher movies, giving horror movies some of the genre's key traits. Unfortunatly the movie has become over used and cliched. The traditional "stalker after sexy girls on christmas eve" defintley needs to be left behind, and never brought into another horror again. We need new and scarier horror, these just arnt cutting it for horror's true fans.
Kids go into the woods to take hallucinogenic mushrooms, and trip their balls off.... Does this sound unique or over-used? this films characters are the standard kids that you'd expect to get massacred, and left for dead.
The only thing this movie has going for it, is the unique camera angles and tricks to give the veiwer the impression that they were trippin' out as well.
Overall the movie is defintley over rated and doesnt live up to the hype of so many college freshmen that think this movie is "sick!"
Im rating this one a 4/10.

This movie isnt living up to the classics that George Romero directs. Simple and odd are two excellent words to describe "Day of the Dead"
They'res many variations of zombies, but the number one rule in zombie films is to use the same general consistency in each of the characters.
In this movie, they'res dumb zombies, fast zombies, slow zombies, talking zombies, and even zombies that can defy gravity and scurry across walls.
Right there they take a way a great source of conflict.
Not only does this movie seem bland and completly unrealistic (like most zombie movies) but, adding the variations between zombies, not only makes this movie boring, but also a major let down for the George Romero classics. Not to mention Nick Cannon is the star! Now what would George. A. Romero, be thinking when he casted Mr. Mariah Carey into this movie. *shakes head in dissapointment*

In case you werent sure, zombie strippers is EXACTLY what it sounds like.
Sure it is suppose to be loosely based on Eugene Lonesco's classic play "Rhinoceros", and sure theyre are some illusions in the movie, that make the strippers eating peoples ears, seem alluring.
But overall, this movie, was sad, dissapointing, and awful.
This sums up some of the worst horror movies Ive ever seen.
Take my advice, and when these movies call your name from theyre walls in blockbuster and theire catchy covers. Pass by, and go grab "Shrek". You'll have more fun watching those monsters then you ever would watching this movie.
